    hi all

was fitting my mtech door strips the weekend and needed to glue on one of the clips, out came the superglue, glue it to the trim and waited 10min for it to go off. then i fitted it to the car, when i went to check it after hour or so, the F'ing glue ran down the side of my door

no need to guess what i'm going to ask now .......... how can i remove this? and in a safe way too. the gutting thing is the paint work is less then a week old too as i've just had the whole car painted

    i've tried -
    WD40
    Warm water
    surface cleaner
    clay bar
    t cut
    tar remover

any help would be great! and yes i know, i'm a 100% tit for using superglue so close to the car

acetone which is in nail varnish remover or white spirit can help lift it but wash it off the paintwork when finished

I've used standard thinners before (the type you use to wash out spray guns) just make sure you wash it off after the glues gone, that crap'll eat through the paint if you leave it on there.
