    Hi chaps,

Myself and Andy (im sure he'll make a post as I've forgotten his username) have a problem with a pair of wing mirrors I sold to him.

Basically I bought them as original M3 wing mirrors and found that they didn't fit my car as I have a compact and need either saloon mirrors or saloon base plates.
So I decided to sell them on ebay, Andy bought them and got them today.

Andy doesn't think they are real as he can't find any markings on them to say they are BMW and I had no reason to doubt they were original.
We need to know if they are real or copies, I had DTM mirrors on my car and they were nasty plastic things these seem like the real things but I don't want Andy to have had a bum deal, as if they are not original then it's my fault and I'll sort it out.

I'll put some pics up that Andy took for me and hopefully you guys can help us out.

    Thanks

They look like Hagus mirrors to me, they were sometimes fitted when the original M3 mirrors got pinched off of cars or smashed. They are not original E36 M3 mirrors.....

I have done a little research on Hagus after that steve and found they are condsidered an official accessory supplier? And also these wing mirrors could be fitted at the request of the owner if their wing mirrors were broken on missing?

Thats right. It was known for the dealers to fit them at the request of owners. They are good quality mirrors....

Hi and thanks to steve for starting this post and thanks for the replys, great help to me and others.

    E36 COUPE.

The only issue is with the passenger mirror when fitted to the door when it's adjusted down to the lower right you can barely see down the side of the car and I can get my fingers under the mirror at the far end, the motor is on it's last possible click and looks like the glass is hanging out, (and no I'm not short and have to have the seat forward lol), I know they are good mirrors so something must be wrong with the spacers?

I have been told it's a LHD mirror but unsure of that though but it's definately for a E36 Coupe as it states on the baseplate then we went and saw his car and took photo's his is the red one note spacer blocks are nearly twice the size of mine?

Can I take these apart and buy new spacers? They look like they are not ment to come apart...

Again thanks in advance for any help.
