Ian, a lot of people recommend the Karcher clearance site.
If you go for a Karcher with model number 4.xx and above then the internals are better, metal pump. etc.
Also have a fiddle with your Karcher, dead easy to take apart, all torq screws as there is loads of spares available. Mine cost me £12 to repair
2013, Porsche 911 Carrera 4S, PDK, Sports Exhaust, Chrono, etc, etc

Well, thank you all so much for your input.

My heart said buy a Nilfisk, but in the end ('cos I couldn't get ANY type of a deal whatsoever on a nilfisk E130 or E140 with an Induction motor HELLO NILFISK ARE YOU ALIVE????) I got yellow fever and bought a Karcher K3.550 & Delta thing for £135 delivered off Amazon.

I'm gonna frickin foam lance everything within 50 yards when it arrives LOL!
