    The safer option will be to get a dual action polisher as it won't be as intensive at polishing than the rotary. Especially if you are a novice .

    novice i am so dual action it is, but what sort of thing do i need, it does need to be big small compact im thinking

    I've got a polisher on the way, I just asked our tool dealer to get me one so haven't a clue what it is going to be, but did say I don't want a cheap item that the motor will burn out on or break after a couple of uses.

    Should have it next week. I like surprises,

    cool budget isn't a issue as i can but it through my company and use it on my van too, so what better quality one do you recommend.

    In that case, you either want a Meguiars G220 v2 (circa £200), or a Kestral DAS-6 Pro (circa £150).

    nice one i shall check them out, my van needs some good touching up so quality one since its gonna get some use and im sur my old man will want his touching up, many thanks

    If you want really light scratch removal, then look at dual head ones. Personally, I wouldn't bother with those.

    im aware of the danger, i got a close mate who owns a body shop and he is gonna give me a personal class on it so a little help goes a long way,
