Finally got around to giving the the old girl some much needed love today ready for the winter months, and after a trip to Blackpool at the weekend it was looking pretty salty from being park on the sea front at the hotel.

    Before

So started of in the usual manner wheels first with Auotsmart smart wheels agitated with Envy brush.

Lower half of the car, tyres, wheel arches and door shuts sprayed with AG pm3.

And then all rinsed including arches and door shuts etc.

Then a nice thick warm layer of Megs hyper wash was foamed on to the van through the kranzle and left to dwell for around 6 mins.

    And then thoroughly rinsed.

And then a slick layer of Megs shampoo plus was applied to lubricate the paintwork.

And then washed 2BM with lamb’s wool mitt.

All rinsed off and looking better already

Moved inside and dried off with uber drying towel and leaf blower.

The first of 3 coats of FK1000p was then applied.

    First coat curing.

With the 3 coats of FK1000p out of the way I then applied 1 coat of colly 476s, I was planning on applying a couple of coats of colly but time ran away from me so next time its washed I will apply a second coat.

Wax removed with ultra plush micro fibre towels.

And then a final wipe down with my fav detail spray at the moment Finishkare 425.

Tyres were then dressed with Autosmart highstyle and plastics with Megs all season dressing.

    A few afters.

As always thanks for looking, comments and questions welcome.

    Really nice finish.

I've got some diamond cut/polished alloys (ac schnitzers) and i've washed them with AG shampoo etc and can't get the dirt off. What would you recomend? and do you have to be in the trade to get autosmart products?

You have to be a bit careful on highly polished alloys not to use a metal polish that is abrasive belgom alu is what I use on highly polished alloys elite car care sell it

Autosmart is a trade product but I will soon be stocking it online on my website
