    Afternoon Bimmerpeople ,
I have recently removed my front kidney grills on my E36 and i want to spray them black, i have sanded them down but i just want to know if i have to primer these also?
this is also for the outer chrome piece, do i have to primer that before spraying?

if someone can help me out with my answers please because i want to get them done ASAP

    Cheers

use some wet and dry sand paper from halfrauds and grey plastic primer do a couple of coats, and then spray them black do a few coats on there because they will get stone chipped, use some clear laquer on it to make it nice and shiny, i be doing that to mine tomorrow

    You most certainly can

If you buy any BMW magazines then there will be companies in there that do them

Failing that, ebay will have them

I got round to re-spraying my kidney grills black today and im quite proud of myself
all i need to do is give them a couple more coats of black then add laquer, then refit, looking forward to seeing the final finish
