Picked my new car up Thursday night absolutely love it but was in need of a little TLC.

So saturday i go and get two new front tyres for her and then down to the stereo shop to get this mess sorted.

Sorry thats the only pic i have from the ad.

All the boot carpet had been removed from the boot lid and for some reason nothing was working in the end had it all striped out re wired and boot re trimmed.

    Result

So now all the stereo works the Tv's PS2 and sat nav all working fine and sounds great.

Today packed all my bit in the car and off to my old mans to have a clean up.

    Few before

The Wheels are in a right state really curbed and just looking sorry for them selfs so i wasnt going to worry to much as i am going to put a set of CSL's on there.

    Started with this

Mega strong mix of APC and safe degreaser.

    Left to dwell 5 mins

Pressure washed off and then TBM cleaned.

After was the clay dont think it ever seen a clay bar before and this proved it.

I tryied to get the pic just right so you could see how much i done and how crappy the clay bar got. Thats just the boot lid.

    All clayed then foamed again.

All door shuts and boot shuts nice and clean now

    Getting there now.

    Tardis at work

    Exhaust polished

    Carbon fiber diffuser nice

All dryied now to tackle some of the little scuffs

    One on the rear arch

After 1 hit with menz ip

This little bugger on the bonnet

2 Hits got it like this

Think i will have to get some one in to sort it properly though.

    Onto the inside
Seats all cleaned with APC and AG leather cleaner

Little bits cleaned with cotton buds

    Dash wiped down with APC

And here is just a few afters there is no wax on this yet as i had to stop because it was to bloody hot

Needs a good machine polish as well but i just havent got the time

Fantastic looking motor there Glenn! The colour is striking!

What's this APC and what degreaser did you use with it?

I have a Karcher washer and would love to know what would be a good mix to use as a cleaner/soaker in it for mine.
I have loads of stone chips too which need attention soon - any tips? My car's a light green metallic colour (Glacier Green I think)

    Mick
