wanted to know if anyone here has a set of E90 MV3 alloys on an E46.
or better if they can post a pic of one.

i have searched everywhere for a pic of these alloys on an E46 to see what they look like but no joy.

I would be careful, the ones on most E46's are replicas, genuines will stick out. I tried it out on my Compact and they stuck out by half an inch. Not too sure about Saloons, Coupes or Tourings but from what my mate says, they will stick out.

according to the 'sticky' on the alloy wheel forum by ronnie, the measurements for the E60 alloys are identical to the alloys for the E46.

Our MV3's are reps and have 225/40 18's all round which are fine. However, they should be staggered fit i.e 8.5 rear rims with 255's on but due to a **** up at the stealer they aren't. I was led to believe that the wider rears would fit without any problems but think that it's all down to the offset?
Perhaps someone else can shed more light?

    Chris

P.S. They are nicer quality than the RS4 reps we had on a Touran, cost less than 500 quid are are from a place in Kingswinford I think.

i have checked on realoem.com comparing my current MV1 alloys with the MV3

    MV3
    http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...30&hg=36&fg=15

    and

    MV1
    http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...30&hg=36&fg=15

the ET measurements are very different.
34 (front) and 37 (rear) on the MV3
47 (front) and 50 (rear) on the MV1

if compared to the chart on the sticky by ronnie which gives an ET range of 30 to 45 the MV3s are within the range but my current MV1s are not???

i must be confused as dont really understand it all so can anyone clarify?

anyhow, i will still fit them on and see and report back. prob next week
