    Probably not mate, bird sh*t really needs to be cleaned off immediately (or as soon as possible!)

    If it's etched into the paint work then it's going to leave a pretty perminant mark.. more chance of removing it with a machine polisher and a cutting compound (after claying!)

    cheers mate im going to look into it soon, got loads of birds at our work that crap all over the place the car gets hit every bloody week i get it off soon as i get home but sometimes thats not quick enough and i have found a couple of marks after cleaning,
    need to get the bloody shot gun out next time lol

    Too be honest mate the marks are most likely from the way the dried on sh*t has been cleaned off..

    I've certainly been guilty of damaging my paintwork getting it off before now!

    The trick is to drench it until it starts to break up, then wipe gently with microfibre.. repeat until it's all gone..

    It works well with quick detailer but water would do but you are best to spray it on if that makes sense??

    i wouldnt clay a dark car if you wasnt going to to machine polish it after,

    The clay pulls all the fillers out of the swirls and light scratches and makes it show up more, just my 2 cents
