ive seen mer polish mentioned a few times on various threads, and after looking at a write up im tempted to get some,

problem is im not sure how its supposed to be used, the way its described is as an all round by seems of it?!?

do you use it after washing car? as a car wash? as a wax??

also is it actually any good??

    In a word 'rubbish' !

Back in the 70's it was probably ok but it is very old technology now. Every time it rains the residue washes over your bodywork.

Have to agree, my 78 year old father swears by it, says it all, I think it has been superseded about 20 years ago....

Is that the one that can be added to the water when you wash it then polish/buff it off? Avoid its a nightmare!

    Hi
Mer is crap (real old school crap polish),i have sold and used just about every polish on the market.
Meguiars make a good range and i have used them for years however Autoglym bought out there High defenition wax aprox 10 months ago its not cheap.I managed to con the rep out of some its awesome!!
believe me it is by far the best polish i have used ,it doesnt dust to badly and the finish is great i should think one bottle would last for years.
    Well woth the extra money.
    yours nick

    ok that answers that lol!!

i havent actually got it, just heard someone in work on about it! wonders what the general consensus was!

ive been using meguairs tech2.0 wax since i got my new car, im happy with that! seems to do the job, just sometimes get swirls or streaks, i think thats me at fault rather than the wax though!
