As I have only asked for advice (and got it), today I thought I would put up a short note (probably what you already know!).

I finished the Autoglymn shampoo the other week and bought some Meguiars Gold class.

What a difference! Much richer suds and a softer feel to the water, and after a quick dry off with a micro fibre towel, the car looks though it's had a showroom wax!

Hats off to Meguiars - I am surprised how much better it is than Autoglymn.

Someone will now tell me there is something better than Gold class :-)

    Regards

    Steve

I used to be faithful to Auto Glym but I had a one time affair with Meguiars and never looked back. I find their range so much easier to use and the results are better too

Its amazing the difference in quality from two range leaders....But its good to have a good overview..means we can go and buy the correct product first time!
I don't suffer from insanity......... I enjoy it!!!!

I used to use the Meguairs shampoo until a detailer I had do my wifes Audi told me that all though it is a quite good at getting rid of the dirt and suds well, it is a bit aggressive and will remove your hard earned $$$ of wax after a few uses. He put me onto this stuff and there is a noticeable difference between it and the Meg's shampoo. It does the same job but is much lees agreesive in its stripping properties.

    Einzett Exclusiv Wash

Not sure who would stock it the UK though.

Yeah looks llike the same. Possibly different packaging for different markets. The first time I used I thought it had very little suds in the bucket. But it suds up well enough on the car.

i have always used megs range on all my cars, but i think i will have to try a different shampoo after what you said about the stripping quality of it

i have been wanting to try that snow foam stuff that detailers use aswell

thinking about getting some of the dodo juice supernatural wax aswell as have seen some amazing results from it

Yes, supernatural is supposed to be very good. I still have a bit of Swissvax left and may try that next. Swissvax is the best I have used by far though.
