Hello everybody! I have just bought the 'Meguiars Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax Step 3' and 'Meguiars Quik Clay kit' which includes the quick detailer and clay bar. Just wondering if these products are the best on the market and if I have made a good decision in purchasing them? Also, I have never used them before. Is it possible somebody could explain the most effective way of using these products on my car? Thanks!!

By the way my car is a silver E46 330ci if that makes a difference with detailing methods?

I've recently used the Megs clay kit (very easy to use), followed by their cleaner wax, AG SRP and finished with AG EGP.
Having never done a car to this extent before I'm very pleased with results, just make sure you have some good quality cloths etc for application and removal of products.

Edit: My car is silver too.

meguiars is good stuff but ive found a lot better too be honest, i had all megs stuff when i first got my car but have since found cheaper alternatives which give better results,

try autosmart carnauba wax (a tub of this stuff will last years and is a fraction of the price of megs)

the clay kit is excellent though, and ideal for 1st time claying! if you fancy something different though dodo juices clay and clay lube is pretty much the best around on the same sort of budget!

one megs product that i have found is better than any other autoglym/turtle wax etc is the step 2 crystal shine polish! definitely worth giving that a try!

Which cloths do you reccommend me to use? I have brought the Mequires polish/wax applicator pads (round yellow sponges) and for rubbing the debris off, I have brought a Turtle Wax green and white cloth that is 50% microfibre and 50% cotton. Is that ok? What did you use? Thanks!!

How do I use the clay and detailer spray? Never used it before

oh yeah definitely use it and get your moneys worth!! sorry, dont think im saying its not good! because its is good stuff, all the megs products are good, but i find they are expensive and dont last long!

if you've got the step 3 carnauba wax then use it after washing and polishing, will give the car a great finish, but you'll probably find the protection wont last long, thats the only downside of the stuff!

claying is easy if you take your time and use plenty of the detailing spray (clay lube), search youtube for claying and you'll get a video of some american guy using the very kit you've got!! in my opinion megs quick clay kit is there best product by far!!
