    Helloooo

I am going to try and get my cars bodywork sorted for the up and coming show at the POD.........

This also means giving the car a fresh lick of rattle can matt black.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to do it - for example I have rattle canned previous cars with a quick and very light sand to the paint and then started with the paint.

But I aint no expert when it comes to painting cars... and I know a rattle can will not give the best look but hey.... my car has never meant to be a looker of greats... I just want it to drive well and have some poke

So, what is your guide to a rattle can matt black?

first tip, don't just matt black, go for satin.

use plenty, don't pick a day that's damp or hot as the damp will make it cloudy, and the heat will make the aerosol paint dry before it's hit the car.

matt black also degrades a lot quicker til the chalky dust in it is on show, and it goes a cloudy grey.
