    Hi people.

    Got one arriving in the next few days, just wanted a quick outline of the steps required to fit. Possible to do by one man?

    Cheers

    Here you go Kev...follow the steps below

    This is how to filt the lip spoiler with even gaps each side. If it is an original spoiler, you will have two rows of 3M tape running in parallel along the spoiler. Some aftermaket ones come like this as well.
    1. Measure the boot lid and mark centre with an arrow pointing up on masking tape;
    2. Measure the spoiler, mark with an arrow down on masking tape, and slice the 2 backing vertically on the 3M strips in the centre;
    3. Lay spoiler on the boot in the centre and match up the arrows.
    4. Start pealing one side off the backing slowly while sticking the spoiler down on that side of the boot lid. Repeat for the other side.

    Hi mate,

    So obviously I don't put the masking tape where I am going to lay the spoiler? Above it then? And i gradually start on one side and peel and stick?

    Masking tape is just a guide. You put a bit on the outside face of the spoiler and draw an arrow facing down exactly in the centre. Then put another bit of it on the boot lid and draw an arrow in the measured centre. Line up the arrows of the spoiler and boot lid....now hopefully you can see where I am going with this .
