love the slammed look...but wanna keep the comfy ride..... whats the best way to go....

some 60f 40 r springs on gay bay....

    its on 17's...

my sister runs a 3281 on 17's with 60 mm drop...looks sweet but hard ride and wears rears out fast! and she drives like miss daisy!

17's... is that the same size as the Asda shopping trolley wheels???

40mm is a good ride height, anything lower and you should use shortened shocks.

Suspension kits normally rectify the harsh ride effect!!!

60mm on standard shocks may be harsh.

When going low you need to treat your tyres to a bit of rotation from time to time in order to prolong it's life.

I have no issues with my car but then again that's because it's all been done properly!!!

Last time I replaced a pair it cost me £306.............................................. ................. PER TYRE

I'm running H&R coilovers, set on the lowest setting.

Sports run M-Tech suspension but I think you'll find there are different levels.

Your car will be lowered by (I think) 15mm from the factory.

M3's run different suspension. When I did my conversion I fitted the M3 hubs and brakes but left my 318is suspension kit on..... uh uh uhhhhh... not a good combination. Where the strut joins the hub, the holes on the M3 are very slightly different.

This difference in alignement forced my wheels to a point that they fouled the front bumper. I could tell something was amiss and after investigation it proved to be the alignment of the holes.
