    Hi Guys,

I've recently moved on from a 320d Sport to a 320 convertible. It's a beautiful machine, paint's amazing etc. But I have no idea how to look after the hood. Do you hoover it, brush it, wash, is there a special product for it ? Sorry if this questions been asked before, but don't get much time to look when at work.

    Thanks in advance.

I have the same routine as Neal - the Autoglym stuff is great and smells nice too!

I keep an adhesive 'anti-fluff' roll in the boot too, to lift off any bits of crap etc that accumulate - the basement garage in my building has a weird roof material and drops white dusty stuff over the car all the time. If I don't drive for a few days, there is a nasty thin layer of the sh1t...

This is perfect for a quick run-over, just make sure it hasn't got any nasty chemicals in it - shouldn't though as it's for clothes.

A mate of mine said the auto Glym stuff was good, so I will get some soon and treat my hood.

Snow foam mine, lifts all the dirt out rather than forcing it further in.
