Hi, i have a 1999, 323ci, E46. i currently have the standard lights on the back, but would like to change for the led ones... Is it a simple straight swap, or do i need different wiring, holders?

    Your help is appreciated.

Yes please.. Do they give any faults on the dash?

Also do you know if the genuine ones will be ok?

was chatting to a breakers today and he was saying that buyin the led ones and putting them on my 2000 323 coupe will bring me probs and i will need to replace the light switch as the speedo and some other dials may not work?

    is this true?

Fitting genuine ones from a breakers may give you problems which is why you'd be much better off buying plug and play ones similar to the ones advertised in your link

he's talking tosh...the bm celis lights will display a bulb out on the obc, hence the ebay one mentioning a resistor.
bmw may be able to recode your ecu to accept their lights,or they'll flog you a newer unit.cheapest to go plug n play off the bay
