    Morning

As it says above just bought a rechargeable polisher from Lidl.

It looks ok and has the following attributes:

1/ Red dot award 2008 for innovative design.

2/ TUV sud certified, field tested and long term tested.

3/ 20cm polishing pad wit powerful excentric drive mechanism.

    4/ 18v battery

    5/ 2 x towelling and 2 x synthetic bonnets (washable & reusable)

I haven't used it yet but my plan is to thoroughly clean the car and dry. Then use it to apply/ buff some auto glym super resin polish then some suitable liquid wax which I think I'll buy this afternoon from Halfords any recommendations?

Plus has anyone bought this unit price was £25.

    Cheers
    D
    I'm loving it

just found this link http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=100889 this guy seems to know what he's on about - i already have a new bottle of the extra gloss protection already so will apply this after polishing - although will do this second part by hand.

I used it earlier to apply and polish off three coats of the Auto Glym Super Resin Polish - and it's pretty good. It doesn't have a powered rotation instead the head moves irregularly applying and polish effectively. I finished the awkward areas with a micro fibre cloth. £25 well spent - I think as it saves quite a lot of time and energy
