Ok, so i had seen the Range Rover and old school Merc that had been done by Autobrite-Direct and decided to give it a go.
Went out and bought some kit to help me. Wasnt all top of the range stuff but it all works well.
1. Autogym Shampoo
2. Autogym Polish
3. Colinite 476s Wax
4. A bucket
5. Meguires Clay bar
6. to wash mitts. 1 for wheels 1 for bodywork.
7. Large amount of microfibre towels
8. 3 pack wax application
Before pics. (After driving over from Germany)
Started off with a good rinse. Then shampooed it using one of the mitts. Half the car done then rinsed again to do the other half. Wheels done using the other mitt and then all dried using seperate microfibre towels for bodywork and wheels. All topped off with a good polish.
Even did the door shuts......
Then waxed it using the wax applicators. one to put it on, one to buff it and one to wax off......(no I wasnt karate kid....waxon waxoff)
It took me about 4 and half hours to do. Im sunburnt but more than happy with the results. When I get better at it and quicker then I may start to invest in some of the more expensive stuff.......
