hey all, the other day i watched the film 'night at the roxbury', a will ferrell film, i dunno if any have seen it but in the film he drives a E36 coupe. I noticed that his indicators are infact his side light, i know this wouldnt be hard to do, i was wondering whether a) it was road legal in this country, or was it just american spec cars, and b) has anyone one here have it?

im thinking of doing it as i think it looks pretty smart, what you guys think? heres a pic.

    Hi there,

I think that this is only on American spec cars. I think that it is a legal requirement there.

That is correct mate, just below the original hole it was and fit there but be careful and obviously drill a smaller guide hole first then go up in size until it fits as its easy to break one

im not sure about the E36 but on the E46 this can be done by coding the car! so no holes drilled in the indicator unit, it might be worth looking in to coding first? just an idea.
    Thanks button is here
