    Same as that, as its starting to get a bit better i can wash it every sunday. But in winter it could be 4-6 weeks because the weather could be so bad you would catch a death of cold, and it rains alot here so waxing isnt optional in that weather either.

    But with topping up the layer of wax on the dry weekends i think its pretty well protected during the bad months even if it doesnt always look very clean.

    I think you know when the wax is doing its work when you wash it and dry it, then still get rain beads even after its been awhile since its been polished.

    you only need to polish your car once every 8 months to a year. once you get a good paint finish it is just a case of applying a good sealent and wax every month or two.

    polishing weekly will wear through the clearcoat causing a lot more damage than good. if you have a good cleaning method you wont need to polish at all.

    i clay and lightly polish my car once a year and apply wax once a month on the front of the car and once every 3 months on the rest.
