I spend around £20 per month on both car & motorbike products, but only buy what I need to top up on products getting low, so its not every month.

My wallets just taken a serious dent!

Please feel free to post what you've spent & what's in your detailing locker?

yeh that was the 1st thing i bought on there, amazing results but you need to know how to use them mate lots of vids on youtube show how to use them correctly in the right patterns etc and avoid burning the paint

i practised on my work van as the paint was knackered anyway, got used to it straight away and it looked like a new van when i was finished

Chasman dont suppose some of your paint on your bm isnt original paintwork is it? I ask because i know that bmw pant is solid but i know some of the paint on mine isnt original so probably a bit softer but i dont know where that paint is.. well bar the bonnet and front bumper which i know.. Im not wanting to burn the softer paint or feck it up... you reckon i should perhaps get an old bm bonnet and a bonnet off another car to practise on??

i doubt if mines all original mate as its a 1997 model, its quite easy mate just remeber to dont stop and leave it on the same spot, if you keep moving in the same pattern you will be fine and obviously make sure you have plenty of compound as you dont want to let the pannel go dry while your doing it.

if your that worried mate you can get a computer that tells you how thick the paint is and there not too expensive, thats what im buying next month think a good paint job should be between 120- 150 ( i think, not 100% on this)
