Hey guys, some ****** stole (or tried to) my door handle trim, ended up snapping the bloody clips, i've removed them but you can't just clip a new one back in, i need to remove the whole door panel (interior) anyway here's the pics of what i mean.

    Broken part:

    What it SHOULD look like:

No one know? Do i need to take the three allen bolts out of the side of the door to get the door trim off? lol it's doing my head in looking at it, especially when i have the part right here sprayed up.

I read somewhere a while ago you can get the replacement bit from BMW for about £7 for E46 cars, But I'm not sure how you remove that mate, maybe if you take it to BMW and see what they say when you go to buy the part?

Sorry I couldn't be of much help.

hey man, nah i have the part, from BMW. It should just clip in, i have the metal bit too, but because the plastic bit has to stretch out a bit it cant cus the door handle is there, if you know what i mean, it's hard to explain. The gap is only big enough for it when it's ALREADY clipped in to the metal bit, there's no room to just put a new one in like i thought you'd be able to.

You sure? I could clip them on my E46 without adjusting or removing the door handle.
