    Hi all.

I trying to remove the front bumper of my post-face lift E46 touring.

I have removed the 4 bolts and plastic rivets from underneath. I uncliped the bumper from the wheel arch..

However, the two torx bolts that hold the bumper support on are giving me problems.

The bolts undo and then drop slightly and are loose. However, I cannot get them out. I assumed they are suppose to be "captive" making the bumper easier to fit but I can't get the bumper off.

The bumper will slide forward an inch or two then jam. I can hear the bolts catching but they cannot be removed.

    All help welcome!!

    Cheers.

Wiggle the bolts they should slide straight out i had the same trouble putting them in - then my bro came and put them straight in without even a slight problem, i think i might just be mechanically retarded.
