    Hi all,

Having the wheels on my 1 series convertible re-furbed tomorrow and it just occurred to me that unless the guy doing them knows exactly what colour I need, wont the silver he sprays on be different to the stock silver of the wheels?

Can anyone help with a colour code for them at all?
The car is a 2008 model if that helps.

Any help would be greatly appreciated asap.

    Luke.

I asked BMW for a code for the wheels, but apparantly they don't have one, so I'm off to halfords to find a touch up stick

BMW do have codes...i guess the guy was just being lazy... there are, if i remember correctly, 3 different colours for alloy wheels, can't remember the exact names though.
Halfords is a waste of time, the nearest aftermarket, which is very very good match is Werth paint.
BMW do a touch up which is in the region of £25.00...the Halfords ones are rubbish

Edit...this tread shows the werth german alloy paint... Alloy wheel kerbing repair

    Hi Martyn D.

Thanks for that, not been to halfords yet, but I have seen the Werth paint in another thread, has anyone tried the auto-glym silver alloy wheel paint that is on ebay?.
