A dry weekend forecast! so I am going for my first detail. I practiced the clay bar technique on my sons old fiesta, lol, so I am ok with this.
However, I've read that Lime prime is not suitable for cars with 'soft' paintwork (whatever that means). It contains micro abrasives. Is this going to be ok for my BMW 330? It's 6 months old and had the bmw seal and protect wax when I picked it up (waste of good money).
The paintwork is in good nick, a few light swirl marks.
The plan was:
Wash (megs gold class)
rinse in purified water
dry (do I need to dry it?)
Clay (sonus sfx ultra-fine)
Lime prime (not the lite version - this bit I am concerned about)
Swissvax Blau-weiss (a present!) but I do have Collinite 915..
How does this sound?
Oh, and when using the dodo juice, do you wipe it on in straight lines or a circular motion??
Thanks for any advice.
