Are these number Plates legal? Do I need to do anything before fitting I.e telling dvla or? I've found a nice set on eBay for £20 a set made up! Look brilliant not sure if they are legal and also don't want to get pulled over constantly! Any recommendations? Anyone link me over some good ones? Many thanks!

Sorry posted in wrong section before!

no...then they would be illegal...... though there a lot of cars with then, you just run the risk of getting pulled and a 60 quid fine

Edit....thats twice today i've been out-typed....i must go to the gym more often

    Something I didn't know...........taken from Wiki

Germany has selected a typeface which is called fälschungserschwerende Schrift, meaning "falsification-hindering script". It is designed so that, for example, the O cannot be adjusted to look like a Q, or vice versa; nor can the P be painted to resemble an R, amongst other changes. This typeface can more easily be read by radar or visual license-plate reading machines, but can be harder to read with the naked eye, especially when the maximum allowed number of 8 characters in "Engschrift" (narrower script used when available space is limited) are printed on the plate.

2 of my mates have them on there VW's. They havnt been pulled with them on and they have been using them for months now. But I think the polio are abit 'easy' around our area now days. I got tints that are. Way over the limit and I have never been pulled on any of my cars.
Am thinking of getting some pressed plates but with having a personalised number plate and it only being a short one, I think it might look abit odd. They diffenitly look alot better with the 'standard' number plate number's and letter's
