I've just completed a full detail on my car (1997 E36 323i vert) and am much happier with the result compared to last year.
Having coated with Colli's wax (2nd coat to go on tomorrow) I'm now wondering how to maintain the effort.
Am I right in assuming that I do not need to use the Menzerna polish again unless I end up with some scratches that penetrate the wax
My logic says wash regularly and when wax wears thin I should clay the car, then use something like 3M Rosa Fina or Menzerna final finish then wax and that's it - is this right?
Reason i ask is my understanding of the polish is that every time I polish I remove a layer of paint so I don't want to cut through the paint by polishnig too much with polish compounds.
Hope the above makes sense and would appreciate your thoughts.
