    Firstly, thanks again to tux for giving me the seats for nothing

    As you can tell from the pictures, the drivers seat needs a good recover, which im paying someone else to do when i can get a bi of free cash! the tilting mechanism to let passengers into the back was damaged, i managed to source an old cloth seat from a scrappy for £5!! and used the cable from that


    the process so far..

    I used autoglym leather cleaner, and autoglym leather feed to give the leather a good shine and softer feel.


    Apologies for the crapness of the photos as my google phone camera is shite and i will add some more finished photos after another good srubbing

    Aw shucks. Wish I hadn't given them away now!

    Nice work Jonny. I would never have thought of getting another seat from the scrappers for the cable, would have ended up paying main dealer prices for a new one.

    hehe i thought you may say that, just gotta get the drivers seat repaired and get them in the car now

    Yeah i was in the scrappy looking for some OEM wing mirrors and noticed a badly worn seat so thoguht id enquire Dunno how much the cable is from BMW as i never had a quote.
