Cheers lads not bad for a first timer I used autoglym bodywork shampoo, super resin polish and ultra deep shine and simoniz wheel cleaner which worked rather well for a cheap wheel cleaner

Only thing I forgot was tyre dressing, also do you have any recommendation on something to use to restore black plastics on the outside eg, wing mirror mounts?

SRP, that you have used is a filler polish and as such just fills the scratches and swirls, rather than removing them,

the filler will wash out and as your scrathces re appear you will have to polish them again to get rid,

you could wax every 4 - 5 washes, depends on alot really: how bothered you are, is it kept outside, do you drive it alot, and how you want it to look

i wax mine every 3 washes, just one coat to keep it looking good

but for protection it will stay on the paint for months, colli stays on for about 6months i would imagine AG to be less
