    Hi all,

I am searching for an appropriate brush for my convertible top.

I have seen the one below (Raggtopp Natural Horse Hair Convertible Top Brush) but I cannot find anyone stocking this item in the UK.

Does anyone have this or knows of any place I can buy it from?

Also, is anyone using the Meguiar's All Surface Interior Brush on their convertible top?

Lastly, any suggestions on any other brush?

    Many thanks,
    Sol

I only clean mine with water,

    And never really brush it,

When I got it there was some algue growing near the rear window I brushed that, and I occasionally brush birds mess out with a like a tyre brush, that I only use on the top

    And it looks perfect

Thank you for your replies guys!

I also have the Autoglym sponge, might just use that for stains and just vacuum and water for the rest.

I just figured out why I keep having cat hair on my roof! Saw the neighbour's cat proudly resting on my top!

off to get a pet hair roller and need to find a way to stop this from happening!

Weather is nice, hope you are all out there with your tops open!

    fabsil

it is waterrproffing for canvas, but its alot of hard work you have to scrub and clean your top first then apply it with a brush (paint it on) all over,

it will re-waterproof the canvas and make it look black again and be as good as new and permanent

Autoglym do a kit that does a good job, easier to apply wont last forever

obviously its not like a dye or paint or anything,

I havent used it on my car but me and a guy at work done it to his leaky merc clk roof, which had been left under a tree by a previous owner and was in a pretty bad state

It changed the colour to an even black all over and re-waterproffed it really well. it did look really nice when done. it also has a uv protectant in it too

Renovo do a roof restore, that is very good at getting the roof back to black,

if your gonna use it, clean the roof with a nail brush or big tire brush, warm water and johnsons baby shampoo

paint the renovo on, two coats if need then two coats of fabsil

fabsil - you can find it on ebay or most camping shops - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000XY5ZH...SIN=B000XY5ZHG
