Hi, quick question, I am amongst other things cleaning and protecting underside parts of the car. I was hoping to clean the exhaust and wondered if there is anything specific or safe other than water to do this with. My seconds question is will exhaust heat wrap help protect the system a little longer as this is a fairly cheap stuff to buy from most rally type car shops. Thanks
    Steve

True, I was just thinking about it as some of the other parts were being cleaned up.

Would not bother, as said, its stainless steel. I had my car on jacks and spent a few days underneath it cleaning the living daylights out it !! I then put Waxoyl on the rear arches (when dry) just to assist with the rush proofing side of things, and now when ever a mechanic type goes under it for any work i need doing they always say how clean it is and they have never come across a car with an underneath cleaner than most others peoples exteriors. I like clean cars.

Just lots of soapy water, sponges, brushes, and cloths, nothing more is needed, just hard work and time.
