    Hi,

I've just noticed that there are some (what look like) water marks on my shadow line door trims. They look pearlesent though which is odd? And they are only on the 2 strips on each door, not on the rear window or the window surround.

I've tried to clean them off but having no luck - any ideas how to remove these?

    Cheers,
    Jack

It's quite common, BMW blame environmental conditions.

Really?! The car is only 8 months old.

So there is no way of getting rid?

I manage to remove the water marks on the trim on my E91 by claying and polishing...

Well I'm claying, polishing and waxing this weekend so I'll give that a try.

It's only water marks on mine, so it comes up pretty well, I find that sealing the trim ensures that it doesn't come back quite as quickly/bad in the future.

    Keep us updated.
