First of all, I hope I have posted in the right fourm, if not forgive me, tried to match as close as I can. I t hought I posted it earlier in the day, could not find it.

I have E92 335i 56 plate coupe. The angle eyes as you know are dull yellow. I have been looking around and found LED replacement bulbs that will turn my angel eyes white. Sounds very attactive, have seen some on the road and like it.

Can I buy and just replace, plug in/plug out? Any particular make to use? Any one thinks I sould or shold not do it? Will it leave my headlights (I think I got bi-zinon) as they are so just the angel eyes turned nice white?

Finally, legal in UK? Would not want to if it is not.

Appreciate any thoughts, and which ones to buy.

If I do, I promise, in return, to come back and relay my experience.

    Cheers

If you are looking for the whiter look on the corona rings, then you need to buy those whiter replacement bulbs a you said. Straight replacement and no problems with legality. This is an example you should look into...LINK

Thank you very much. I will attempt to buy from this seller. Yes, it is the hallo rings that I want to turn white, if possible and legal. I don't want to change the original Xenon lights. The link went to finished posting but the seller does not seem to have for E92, I have posted to the seller which ones will do my car.

    Thanks again.

Actually, I just realised that the corona rings on the E92/93 are run during the day by a fibre optic glass rod system using H8 bulbs. If this the case, then I think you will need to look for whiter H8 bulbs. Something like THIS should work. You could go for THESE, but I can't guarantee that the lights out warning won't show up on the dash.

what would you go for: the normal bulbs that are blue/white (as opposed to yellow) or LED bulbs (error free)?
Basically which will be the brighter?

I bought these and I've been happy with them. Pretty cheap and no risk of errors.
