    Hello There!

I am looking for E90 car mats with a decent sized BMW or 3 series logo on them, I've looked for hours on the net but I cannot find anything?

Also lookin to tint the windows how dark should I go? (the car is black)

Also looking to put chrome bits on the nostrils on the front, where's is a good place for BMW accessories?

Can anyone help with any of these questions?

    Cheers,

    Ron

E90 320D, i've moved your thread to the detailing section as I believe it will get more attention.

Are you aware that it is no longer legal to have the front side windows tinted?

The rest you can go as dark as you like

I will see if I can do some browsing for you to help with your questions

What make model and year is your car? I need to add this to your thread title

    Hi Ron

    Have a look here

    http://www.autostyle.co.uk/designer_car_mats.asp

    If you selsect BMW

    and type

E90 into the box below it, they have these on their system.

Their luxury mats are very nice (seen some for an audi) but the only problem is getting the BMW logo on there.

If you try and use the customise button on their site to upload your own grafix, they state (as do all others) that they cannot put any copyrighted logos on to mats, like the BMW badge etc

I personally think its crazy but the only way you can get that is to get a local seamstress to add them after the mats are made...as no good auto mat place will do it for you as they risk a big lawsuit!

As far as i was aware any tint on the windscreen will fail the cars MOT and hence void insurance.

Just for the record, the front windows with tint must allow at least 75% of light through them and should you get stopped by the Police and they carry a light meter and the test fails they will give you the option of removing the tint there and then or they can impound the car. On the back and rear you can go to limo tint if you want but the fronts is a completely different story, all came about after a court case on a RTA at night because the drivers front windows were heavily tinted and he failed to notice the oncoming traffic when pulling out of a junction. Unfortunately a death occured due to this very factor hence why the Police and VOSA are particularly hot on the topic.
