Bonnet of the car got keyed yesterday , tried my best to polish/wax but can still see the scratch , anyone got any idea how much it will cost to respray the bonnet, colour carbon black. Also can anyone recommend any good body shops in Sheffield, going to try get a quote from Sytner first but I guess the dealer price will be too expensive.

    That's shit mate. Bad luck

Do Synter have their own body shop? Many contract the work out - price should be no more than your most respected local body shop would charge directly since it's probably going to be going to them anyway.

Good luck - hope you get it sorted easily. Your insurance will cover it, if you consider it worth the knock to your no claims. In the mean time, keep some pliers and a blowtorch in the boot just in case you happen to run into the scum who did it

Thanks cforehead not sure if Sytner in Sheffield have their own body shop ??? I guess they also used local body shops for their work. Might use my own pocket money not through insurance with these . Just can't believe people like this still exist ....
