    Hi,

I have a E60 Msport on 245/40/18's summer tyres and my winter wheels are a set of SE 16 inch rims running 225/55/16 rubber.

I got a set of 4 SE 16" rims off ebay for £50 and a set of part worn M&S rating tyres with 7mm for £90.

These are the rims I got:-

My intention is to spray the SE rims to get rid of the silver look and spray them black. This is due to 2 reasons, first, will require less effort when cleaning, and second maybe not as noticeable...

5 minutes in paint.net created this...

    The question is.....:-

    Keep them silver ?
    Go black ?
    or do something else ?

At the end of the day, these are winter rims to serve a purpose, but I would not mind to get a different look...

    Opinions please

    Thank you

    Rick

Compared to those smart 18s it's tough to say what's going to look good, but I would certainly go for somehting different of it was me...

Yeah, im wanting to get away from the fact they are stock 16 inch rims.

ps.. the rim compare photo's above are not of my car, just a photo I found on the net with a side profile which i could amend with the 16 rims

Im running the 18 double spoke MSport rims not the 19" spiders..(that's next on the growing xmas wish list!)

    Cheers

problem is darker colours tend to make the rims look smaller, thought about going anthracite, nice and easy to keep clean
