    Hey...

I have a 330ci 2004 and have just changed the lower trim on the steering wheel.

The first thing i done was Disconect the battery as u need to remove the airbag.

The two slots on the side are so uyou can fit a flat head screw driver in them and you will feel it hit a spring which you push and then one side of the horn(airbag) pops out. You then do the same with the other side and with a biit of fiddling(not in ya pants) The centre will then pop out which will revel the nut to remove the wheel. When you remove the airbag and unplug it ive been told NOT to turn the ignition on (if the battiers connected) Otherwise you end up with an airbag fault on the dash.

Hope this helps...if not sue me you can have half of what i got....feck all
