Due to the nice weather that we have been receiving I thought it was time to start doing stuff to my car. The first job is to spray the interior trim, I had some left over silver paint from my old car (a 206) but its too dark for my liking of the interior trim.

Did a quick search and a lot of people do it black, however, it just reminds me of how it looks atm (dark grey) and could not find a topic that says what silver BMW use.

Does anyone know the actual colour of the silver interior trim that BMW use? A paint code or the name of the paint would be brilliant if anyone knows it.

    Help is much appreciated

I'm doing mine at the end of the month in Titanium Silver to match the exterior - I know that the trim in the E39 is pretty light and not a million miles away from Titan Silver.

Going to finish it with a satin lacquer rather than matt (but if it looks pants, I'll revert to matt).

I used some of my dads titan silver and IMO it looked a little too bluey grey. I just did the center console to see if it was a good colour. Whats the difference in the lacquer?
