So...I've dented the rear wing on the driver side. Needless to say I'm gutted as this is the only cosmetic damage on the body. Here's a pic of my "accomplishment" (follow link below):

So, what's the damage you think? It definitely needs respraying, but will it be the whole panel or just locally?

That can be fixed no problem. I had very similar damage on my car (except it went across the door too) and had it repaired and resprayed (whole door respray as well) for about 200 quid.

Here is the pic, it was dented too but hard to see in the picture. How did yours happen?

    Thanks Tungtvann,

It was a silly one, I pulled aside in a petrol station and there was a rail on the side which I didn't even see...
There is a dent on mine of about 1-2mm. But the £200 you paid for yours respraying both panels seems very reasonable.

I've never been to a body repair shop in the UK so not sure what I should expect to pay for this kind of damage, hence the post and asking for a bit of advice.

Wondering if anyone can recommend a good, honest repair shop in the south-east? I live very near the M3/M25 junction.

Well, my dad is in the motor trade and one of his life long motor buddies did it for me, he's very good and don't think I would have got it much cheaper anywhere at all to be honest. I'm in the South East too, he's located at a place called Maulden near to Bedford in Bedfordshire. If you can't find anything closer to you and you'd like his details, let me know.
