The Ultimate E46!
No befores or wash pics as the customer just wanted me to polish and seal the paintwork. So he had the car washed clayed and dried ready for me when i arrived - note no work was carried out on the front bumper as it off to be resprayed shortly
So straight on with the inspection of the paintwork.
This one kind of reminds me of a baby scan picture :
So on with the polishing - started on the bonnet & glad i did IP & polishing pad, paint just laughed at it so upped to cutting pad an IP some improvement but not a lot so went with Prometheus 205CC on the cutting pad finally getting somewhere, after 2 hits with this all but the deepest of RDS & swirls were removed, refined this with a mix of IP & 106FA on a polishing pad 2 and a half hours later that was the bonnet done! Now at this point my love affair with BM's was about to end! but fortunately the bonnet was the only really hard part the rest of the paintwork correction up nicely with a mix of IP & 106FA on a polishing pad
Some before and after comparison shots
After from above
After, still some deeper RDS that IMO were too deep to safely remove fully
Couple of Brinkmann shots
Blinging carbon roof
After the polishing was completed car was IPA'd the 2 x ZFX'd Z2 followed up with a spritz of Z8
Cheers for looking
