    Hi,

Just had a thought....maybe stupid like!!

is it possible to buy a pair of m3 mirror housings only, then buy some m3 style glass (with tint and heat functions) but then use your own motor from your standard mirrors...mine being from a 320d and hey presto u got m3 mirrors??!!!

    Any advice appreciated...

he's got a saloon so the m3 mirrors wont fit. I'm always for diy modding but I think you might just be better off buying some aftermarket parts on this one as they will be cheaper and less hassle.

i missed out on a pair of m3 housings for £15!! but i kno sum1 who will give me the motors and the loom for m3 mirrors pretty cheap... and mirror glass aint that expensive!!

all in all it will be ALOT cheaper then buying m3 replicas for sallons at £200 or used geuine m3 mirrors for about £250!!

if i llok around i reckon i could get all parts for well under a £100!!
