    BTW guys some head units with steering wheel controls require the original head unit to be retained to work the steering wheel controls... he may also have his changer there.....

    The 4 bolts you need are M8 x 35mm. No, the stick section is seperate.

    on the diagram and also looking at the armrest there seem to need to bolts at the front to secure it. Am just wondering how to reach them. also my car a auto.

    The centre tray comes out, just below the arm rest. You can reach the bolts from there, but if you need to take the whole console out, then you will need to start stripping down the trim surrounding the gear lever etc...

    yea i would need to as the console for the armrest is slightly longer..any ideas on removing the gaitor area on a auto
