    Hi,

Can anyone advise on how hard/easy is it to remove the exterior door rub strips on an e46 saloon.

The paintwork on the ones on mine has started to come away - probably due to previous owners use of a pressure washer - and I'm looking to get them resprayed.

Obviously if they are off the car it is easier to spray them - and by doing both sides it will seal a little bit better and not leave them open to the same thing happening again.

    Any help gratefully received??

On a saloon, it won't be factory sprayed as they are usually black. These will just clip off by using a plastic trim remover.

Yeah, they must have been done(poorly) aftermarket.

Where can you get these "plastic trim removers" and will i need new clips for putting them back on?

Use a plastic ice scraper like the ones you get with your fridge/freezer...saves the hassle of buying a set of trim removers . No clips, just pop in to the holes.
