Wicked cheers for all the info and help mate il be in contact for a lil meet up
I lowered my e46 on spring -40mm and it's sitting just right, tires just sitting under the arch and am rolling on the new M3 wheels which are 18's. I got some angel eyes off eBay from German so they are the OE colour rings, not these White / Blue one's you see about. Also tinted windows all round and black grilles and I don't know what else to do to it without going too over the subtle look with it, otherwise I think I'll end up spoiling it haa haa
Thanks m4kry thats the exact ans i am looking for, just need to check with d9n_dk if my rears will tuck under ok, cheers vauxfan a usefull thread of recommended upgrades thanks for the input truely apreciated
right so heres the story Ive been shopping about for a respray and the cheapest quote Ive had is £1200 and the most expensive is £2000 the last place qouted me the dearest and told me what they plan to do,
remove all trims and mouldings
remove front and rear bumpers
remove mirrors and handles
remove lights and grills
and then spray
he also advised me that for £1200 quid all they be doing is masking up and blowing it over £2000 is way out of my price range and i thought that's how they did it mask up and paint what do you guys think as i don't want to be paying £1200 for a blow over i can get a blow over for £500 would it be the same quality as the more expensive blow over
the other option is to have just both sides and front bumper done as the rest is good paint work but will the new paint show up the old also will i get problems with old and new being a metallic paint help really needed im stuck in a dilemma
I currently have an e46 coupe, with standard all black leather interior with laminate wood trimings.
I have seen on the forum, poeple which have baught a kit and changed the interior colour, i would still like to keep the main leather colour black, but add something different and change the trim
Any suggestions, ideas and pictures?
as for rolling arches and cutting and flaring its very difficult on e46's or indeed all cars with the mould line horizontally through the rear quater, saying this i have seen it done. there are after market metal and plastic arches available for grafting/welding on. depends on ya budget???
[QUOTE=delboy37;643087]lol all you had tro do was change the thread to include your vehicle model etc, was about to comment and say i got a complete set of silver interior trims going spare but it was locked out.
have you posted this in the wrong thread?
delboy i think if im going to go that low it will be cheaper to get skinnyier wheels what do you think on the respray quote dilemma?
