I'm currently looking to buy a 330D and went to view a 2001 330D sport the other day.
One thing I was concerned about was a patch of bubbling at the base of the drivers door (b-pillar?). The bubbling was on the black part of the door pillar just above where it meets the body colour.
Would this be rust or are the black parts of the door a sort of adhesive covering? Could it be that that just the covering is starting to come away? Also wondered if this was a common problem that can be easily sorted or should I carry on looking?

    Many Thanks...
    Paul

If it was rust then I'd seriously look into whether it's had body work due to a crash.
