My car has the black cube trim inside and as always is the case the drivers side arm rest has a fair few scratches on it - does anyone know (or know of a thread) how to remove this cube trim and replace it?

Also, on the same area on the passengers side there is a cover where the mirror switch would be - how do I take this blanking plate off and can you get replacements as its a bit shiny in places.

To remove the passenger side blank you need to take the doorcard off. I can't remember if there is enough access for your finger without taking the armrest off, you will need a torx bit to do this if so (and definitely if you are removing the drivers armrest)

If you were planning on replacing the blank, you could drill a small hole in it and pull it out to save removing the doorcard, that is the cowboy way though and I wouldn't recommend it (the swarf will fall down into the armrest/door and you risk damaging the cube trim)

You can find the part no's for the blank here, part no.2 (thats for an 08/2001 vert, I'd go back and change to your build date incase of any colour changes)
