I've been toying with the idea for the past couple of months of selling my car as I really fancy getting a 54 plate 530D Msport. Problem is I'm skint due to my Mrs company about to go down the pan. SO I'm trying to give my car a newish lease of life by adding //M pinstripes along the sides. Just the 3 colours in 8mm tape along the the sides.

Cant find any pics of E46 coupes with this and was looking for opinions.

Also if anyone can photoshop the lines onto my signature pic that might help

PS If anyone fancies a mint 1999 328ci with 45K on the clock FSH, full electric sport leather, 18" Mv3s, lowered on eibachs, cruise, sunroof, auto dimming & dipping mirrors, digital climate control, electric turny up mirrors, sat nav, car phone, xenons, 6 disc changer and has around £5k to spend PM me.

Personally, i think it looks well the way it is!! I think the stripes would look ok, but i prefer this colour lookin as it is.. clean and crisp..

just my 2 pennies mate, and as you say, someone with a dab hand at photoshop will help determine..

Cheers for the reply, I've seen the striping offered by the Graphicx shop on the forum, like the look of the 3 stripes over the bonnet roof and boot but really cant decide whether this is going to make the car look crap. I'm also 31and well past the boy racer phase and can't help but feel that aftermarket stickers will make me and my car look like a couple of fuds.

Any other suggestions what I could do?

I tend to agree with Pheonix81, then again I would I have a silver E91 and would not let anyone touch it with anything other than the carbon fibre bits out of the BMW Motorsport range.... The reason that I haven't is simply the price
