    It is indeed - your compact looks a lot more modern with the trim painted the same colour as the car. I hate the quartz or whatever they call it around my car (it would also look funny with some black grills).

    nice one sam,
    i fixed them in with clear silicon,the fixings in the kit are useless.

    Cheers Squeaky - I did the same as well (used clear silicone adhesive). The clips were used briefly to hold them in place while the glue dried.
