    facelift?
    lift the bonnet
remove the bit of trip below the head light, there is a catch that needs to be pressed in either side towards the middle of the car, then they pull out wards like on a hinge

now if you look through the gap that this has opened up with a torch you will see two nuts, undo them both (you will need an extension bar or a bendy extension bar would be best)

two nuts on the top, undo them

pull the light out towards you a bit then you can pull all the plugs out of the back,

there is a bit of a knack to getting them out they only come out at one angle lol but they do come out

If your car is a facelift the lights will be sealed, (you will need a heat gun)

    so to get them apart,

there are two torque screws that need to be undone on the back,

once these are out you will need your heat gun and a flat headed screw driver:

Now using the heat gun heat around the edge, where the black plastic meets the clear plastic. move quickly along so you dont melt the plastic

while heating use a flat head screw driver to leaver the two parts apart opening the clips as you go, you may need to go round a few times

once you can get youe fingers in pull the two parts apart

    and thats it,

to put it back together jus put the two pices together and heat up the glue

there is a bit of a better guide on here that i made

    good luck

Facelift saloons/tourings usually have them clipped on Sam, not sealed like coupes and verts . OP, can you take a pic of the the top of the lights and post it up?
